In 2006, this cricket stadium made world history. In a game between South Africa and Australia, the record for the most runs ever scored in a single match, were beaten TWICE. The South Africans won with an unheard of 438 runs.

And when the Cricket World Cup was in town, the opening and closing matches took place here.

Street cred aside, Wanderers is an amazing setting. If you enjoy cricket, or just singing drinking songs in the sun, a day at the cricket is always as romantic as it sounds! If you want high-fiving/hat eating exciting, or just a lazy day getting progressively more and more pink……you should get your bum on the stand next time there’s a game.
